Beautiful weather, beautiful condo, it is the perfect location on the big island.
We have been coming to the Islands for many years, but this was the best trip ever. Wonderful Big Island and the Villas are perfect. We will be back next year only for a longer stay.
Highly recommend the Waikoloa Beach Resort and the unit we stayed in. This unit as well as the resort exceed our expectation. We had a great holiday.
A wonderful vacation overall! Property staff not very "young people" friendly as my 19 year old daughter, her cousins and friends found out. Kelli, you are amazing, everything was perfect!
Our 6 night stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas Penthouse 2 bedroom unit F32 was great. The Golf Course and lake view is nice peaceful. You can also see the Kohala Mountains in the distance and Mauna Loa and Mt Hualalai out the front kitchen window. This Condo project is right across the street from both the King's Shops Queens Marketplace - you just walk across the street to shop - no need to drive. We walked across the street to the Earth, Wind, Fire Concert at Queen's Gardens. Also, their is free entertainment everyday at both Shopping Centers - very convenient. The Beach at the Marriot is a close 10 minute walk too. The King's Trail is just behind this unit which goes to a surpisingly large Hawaiian Petroglyph field a short 5 minute walk away. I spent an hour there one morning checking out these ancient Hawaiian carvings in the lava. The WBV Condo complex has 2 nice medium sized natural style pools with waterfalls with a hot tub at each pool. The pool water is just right - not too warm or cold. There is also a small exercise room at the Mauka (Mountain-side) pool. The condo has a garage for 1 car. Additional guest parking is very limited so you will probably need to use the garage if you have a rental car.My personal favorite feature of this Condo is the built-in Stainless Steel propane BBQ on the rear lanai, with a bar and sink next to it and a commercial style vent hood above which draws up all the smoke away from you and the grill. I grilled dinner 5 of the 6 nights we were there. If you like to BBQ - this is the place! The furniture, beds / linens, kitchen, appliances, and finishes in this unit are all first rate. There are ice chests in the Lanai cabinet and beach toys, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and even beach chairs in the garage for beach excursions. The owners have really thoguht of everything for their guests in this Condo - there are even a couple binders with maps and info on Big Island activities and another
This property was superior - we have stayed in Maui, Kauai, and just last year on the Big Island, and the location at Waikoloa on the Kohala Coast was the best yet. We're already planning a return trip. The property managers were most helpful before, during, and at the end of our vacation.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Waikoloa on the Big Island. Looking forward in coming back for a longer stay next year. Aloha!
This immaculate, well equipped, one year old condomium style residence was enjoyable in every way. From the great top floor view from the lanai of the golf course and mountains, to the little added touches (sand toys for kids) it was complete in every way. The concierge who greeted us on our arrival was friendly, very knowledgable and offered lots of good information. I also appreciated the friendly and helpful contact with the Resortica staff prior to our visit. We would definately choose this resort again. Mahalo.
This unit is immaculate - loved it! I would say the only drawback to this property is our balcony overlooked a big pit - unsightly and we were a ways away from the ocean...walking distance to shopping (not groceries). I would definitely stay here (and this unit) again if I come back to this area. This is the type of property I look for...clean, comfortable, gorgeous...
Enjoyed our stay. Thanks! Some little things that you may wish to address: The TV in LR did not work, there were small bugs on the counters, and the lighting over the stove top did not work. I asked for assisstance from onsite managers on these issues but they were not resolved.I did get a prompt response on the need for more than one set of keys, and next day service on refill of propane for grill, which was empty on our arrival. The master BR was great; the other bedroom was VERY noisy from neighbors, and this along with the outside lighting in hallway made it difficult to sleep there. We tried to minimize AC use, but it was the noise and lighting that prompted us to use it, for sleep. Also there was onsite maintenance going on all the time, including insecticide spraying and toxic smelling pavement finishing, both of which caused us to close windows and use AC. The window covering to the deck kept falling apart, it did not seem to be properly installed. Appreciated the beach equipment. We found it FULL of sand jumbled in bins; one of two boogie boards was broken on our arrival....but it was nice to have use of some of the equipment. Thank you.
