We were so impressed with our condo at Waikoloa Beach Villas P33! Everyone is right; photos don't do it justice. Everything you need as far as groceries, dining, shops etc, are in walking distance. My only negative comment for location is that the majority of island activities such as hiking tours, diving excursions and the beautiful scenery is at least a 20 minute drive away. However, we were always so happy to walk into our clean and comfy condo. Julia was over the top helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend the property.
The property was great!
The condo was wonderful and stocked perfectly! The location was great as well...will stay with this company in P33 again and again!
I was extremely satisfied with our condo and it's amenities. I would definitely book with your company again in the future, Thank you for an amazing vacation in paradise.
We liked a lot the condo. Everything was impeccable: cleanliness, swimming pool, place. The condo is very well equipped to allow us to spend a pleasant stay: kitchen, barbecue, equipments for the beach, even books and music. The only thing which I could suggest would be to add supports for suitcases in both room. We also appreciated restaurants and stores near the condo. The beach near by was damaged but we went to another very beautiful beach at 10 minutes drive only. Overall, great stay and we would recommend this property without hesitation.
Thank you kindly for that suggestion. Yes! we agree that suitcase racks are important, and we will pass the suggestion on to the owner. We have recently added several new ones, so it may already be done. I'll definitely check on it. Thanks! I did check, and indeed, luggage racks have been added to the unit, awaiting your next visit! Please come again soon.
The condo is awesome. The gardens are gorgeous. Management was informative. The kitchen utensils were minimal so I suspect most of the guests do not cook as much as we do. The lanai is perfect and sheltered from the wind.
This is one of the best vacation rental homes that I have ever stayed in. Our goal for the first part of our vacation on the Big Island was to have a relaxing beach/pool/resort experience with our toddler, and we succeeded. The location couldn't be beat. We visited Kailua-Kona a couple of times during our visit and were happy in retrospect that we had chosen not to stay there. The condo complex itself is also in an ideal location, just in from the main road and across the street from the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace. We made good use of Anaeho'omalu Beach (a stone's throw away) and Hapuna Beach (just up the road). There are also several really good restaurants nearby, most notably Roy's and Monstera. The unit was spotless and very well appointed. The garage was very well provisioned with beach toys. Even the washer and dryer in the unit were whisper-quiet. This is a top floor unit in the farthest corner of the complex and so feels very quiet and private. Nonetheless, there is a pool and workout room about 100 paces away. If I ever come back to this part of the Big Island, I would definitely try to stay in Unit P33 again.
This is a great condo with plenty of room for 2 couples or a family. Nice kitchen / living space / outdoor dining & BBQ / free WiFi. Comfy beds. Waikoloa was a great place to stay in general - sunniest part of the island (at least while we were there), 5-10 minute drive to great beaches. Good access to drive to Kona, the Volcano, Hilo, Waimea, Kawaihae for super good restaurants. We found that we actually left the resort area most days - the beach here wasn't the absolute best (but not bad!). Also - the pool isn't near the ocean, nor does it overlook the ocean. It's a nice pool/hot tub but definitely feels like you are at a condo complex. The condo is about a 15 minute walk from the beach. So in general - condo isn't the best place to hang out, but good central location. Will also mention that there were no "basics" in the kitchen (i.e. condiments, olive oil, etc.) - so stock up on everything you need at the grocery store. Oh and drop by the Waikoloa Hilton for lunch or drinks (free valet if you dine here) and check out their amazing property and the dolphins at Dolphin Quest!
Thanks so much for the feedback. Sounds like you took full advantage of your time and all the Island has to offer! Just to comment on the lack of basic items in the unit, I know it's a tough call - and we have to err on the side of clean and empty - so hard to tell where to draw the line with foodstufs...how long has it been there, how many kids had their fingers in the peanut butter....you can imagine the questions. Even unopened goods are discarded, to avoid any "unwanted guests" moving in, and not knowing how long that box of spaghetti has been in the cupboard. We do gather up all the items left behind and donate them to the local food bank, so none of it goes to waste. There are only so many catsup bottles our cleaning staff can utilize. Again, thank you for your evaluation.
We really enjoyed this place. It is within walking distance to all the shops nearby as well as A-Bay and the Marriott! What a great condo, too, with a nice kitchen, rooms, and lanai!
Best equipped condo we've stayed in--had everything we needed (beach gear, cooking utensils, even a rice cooker!) And beautiful furnishings, along with a great view. We'll be back.
Elegant, upgraded facility. Top notch kitchen, bath and amenities. Great location. Clean, comfortable, and a great price. Look no further if you're staying in Waikoloa
WE really enjoyed our stay, the condo was beautiful we even tried to bokk 2 more weeks but in the end could not get a flight change so we reluctently had to leave.
This is the second time we've used Resortica and stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Villas. We enjoyed both stays. The units were extremely clean and well taken care of. The location is beautiful! The staff at Resortica (Julia and team) were phenomenal! They really took good care of us and were flexible with our schedule. We are planning 2 more trips this year in the Big Island and we're not going to look elsewhere for a place. We know what we'll get at the "Villas" and we like working with the people at Resortica. We can't wait for our next trip!
Copy of e-mail sent to you weeks ago. Did not get a response: Good morning Kelli, Ingrid and Phillipa, Just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for your part in our fabulous hawaiian holliday. Everything was as you said it would be and all your suggestions were appreciated and followed (eventhough we never did make it to Brown's Bar :). Because we had such a nice time, I thought I'd send a little constructive criticism your way so you could forward it to the owners of the unit. Here are some things that would have made our stay even better: 1. A broom. 2. 2 sets of keys. 3. 2 sets of garage openers (or the key to the garage back door). 4. A scale (to weigh the bags before going to the airport). 5. Instructions for the following: range (how to clean it), televisions (thanks, Tony), telephone (local calls only? any way to make long distance/international at our cost? receive calls?), is there a way to recycle on the island (my separate bags were thrown in to the garbage). 6. A way to lock the door when departing. Again, I only mention these things because the condo was soooo nice and so well equiped that it's worth my time to help make it even better :) Thanks again!! Respectfully, Sebastian
Condo was well equipped for monthly stay. Accomodations very comfortable.Looking forward to a return visit!
We loved our stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas. The unit was amazing and it was a treat to have it stocked with boogie boards. It was our first time to the big island, so there was a bit of an adjustment in regards to having to get in the car to drive to the beach. We quickly got over it, as we discovered Hapuna Beach, and it was well worth the 12 minute drive!
