  We liked everything about the place and its location and amenities. The only comment I have is that the shower on the main floor was quite dirty and the shower door off of its rail. Other than that: 10/10!

  Aloha! Thanks for the heads up on this. I'm HOPING (and I will confirm) that what you found on the shower was the notorious buildup we get from the very hard water in our complex. We do our best to keep that under control, asking each guest to squeegie after every shower, but sometimes it just gets ahead of us. As for the door being off the track, I do wish you had called; we would have been there to fix it the same day. As it is now, I shall call in a maintenance report and it will be addressed immediately. We are so glad you had a wonderful stay, and hope you come back again soon.

  We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waikola Beach Villas and unit B23. Our only complaint would be the view. You are looking at the swimming pool, but beyond that is the lava and road. We were hoping for an ocean view. With that said, we adjusted quickly because the condo is very nice. It was quiet and clean and comfortable. The location is easy walking distance to shopping (Queen's market with grocery store and food court is across the way) and about a 15-20 minute walk to the A Bay/ocean or a quick drive. All in all, for the money, I would stay here again.

  Took my families 15th trip to the Big Island in Jan. First time staying at the Beach Villas. Overall unit was in good shape, facilities nice, spacious layout with the loft. Only negatives, kitchen could be a little better equipped (pots for pasta etc). Check in time of 3pm is too late. Flight gets in early and it is just way too mucn time to not have a place to go...esp with kids.

  Wow, 15th trip! We are glad to hear that you and your family love The Big Island as much as we do! You'll be glad to hear that we are currently taking inventory of our units and are replenishing supplies that have "aged" over the years and adding some new equipment as suggested by guests such as yourself! Our business philosophy has always been to make sure that we accomodate our guests as much as we can, especially with check ins and check outs. In some cases, we are unable to provide our guests with early check in or late check out, due to the schedule of the next arrival or previous departure.
